How to Set up an Auto Attendant
An Auto-Attendant greets your callers and lets them press a key to be routed to the right person or department. You build and edit Auto-Attendants directly on your Switchboard.
Creating an Auto-Attendant
- Log in to admin.mangovoice.com.
- Go to Switch Board.
- Select the Switch Board you wish to edit.
- Click Auto-Attendant and move it to the desired location.
- Link the Auto-Attendant to the other actions as needed.
- Change the Sound Clip if desired.
- To change a sound clip, see How to Upload a Sound Clip.
- To record a sound clip, see How to Record a Sound Clip.
- Add or remove options as desired.
- Link each option to the desired action. See How to Use The Mango Voice Switchboard for details.
- Save and exit the Switchboard.
Note: Make sure the sound clip reflects the options. You can have hidden options by omitting them from the sound clip.
Editing an Auto-Attendant
- Select Switch Board in the left side menu.
- Select the Switch Board you wish to edit.
- Go to the desired Auto-Attendant.
- Change the Sound Clip if desired.

- Add or remove options as desired.

- Save and exit the Switchboard.
Additional Settings for Auto-Attendant
- Timeout — The amount of time allowed for user input.
- Repeat time — The number of times to repeat the Auto-Attendant if no option is pressed.
