Dial By Name switchboard object

The Dial By Name object prompts the caller to enter the first few letters of a person's name so they can find that person's extension and dial it directly.

Options

• Lookup By Extension Name: Allows the caller to look up people by extension name. Do not use any non-alphabetic characters.
• Lookup By User Name: Allows the caller to look up people by user name.

Use cases

This is great to use if you have a lot of employees who get direct calls and want those calls to be transferred directly to them.
