Locations Overview

Some Mango installations have more than one physical location but are on the same PBX for ease of administration. For example, a franchise may have 10 locations but share a similar switchboard and call logs. In this situation, it is still important to identify where a physical location is and which extensions are associated with it.

Emergency services locate your PBX or extension by a registered and verified E911 location. Because of the power of our cloud PBX, an extension or PBX can be anywhere. To help 911 services locate the extension or PBX, it is your responsibility to make sure that a number is E911 verified and associated with the correct location for each extension. See the guide below to view and verify that your location is input correctly.

Contact Mango Voice Support at (435) 466-2646 to verify your E911 number and associated location.

Note: E911 Verification must be added by a Mango Voice service representative. Each PBX must have a default E911 verified number associated. See E911 for more information.

It is your responsibility to make sure that the number is E911 verified and associated with the correct location for each extension.

View your locations

Note: You must be an Administrator to view locations. See User Roles and Permissions for more details.

  1. Log in to admin.mangovoice.com as an Administrator.
  2. Select the + next to Settings in the left side menu.
  3. Select Locations.
