Grasshopper Call Forwarding
You can set up call forwarding from the Grasshopper website or the Grasshopper mobile app, then verify that it is working. Follow the section that matches how you manage your account.
Using the Grasshopper website

Log in to Grasshopper
- Go to the Grasshopper website.
- Click Log In in the top-right corner.
- Enter your username and password, then click Log In.

Access the settings
- Once logged in, navigate to the Settings tab in the left-hand menu.

Choose the number
- Under Settings, find and click Call Forwarding or Forwarding Settings.
- Select the business number you wish to forward.

Set up call forwarding
- Click Add a Forwarding Number, or Edit if you are changing an existing forwarding number.
- Enter the external number you want to forward your calls to.
- Choose the forwarding rules, such as “Always Forward” or “Forward on No Answer,” depending on your preference.

Save changes
- After entering the details, save the changes by clicking Save or Apply.

Log in to the app
- Open the Grasshopper app on your mobile device.
- Log in with your Grasshopper account credentials.

Access call forwarding settings
- Tap the menu icon (usually three lines or dots) to open the navigation menu.
- Select Settings from the menu.

Select the number
- In the settings menu, find and tap Call Forwarding or Forwarding Settings.
- Choose the business number you want to forward.

Set up forwarding
- Tap Add a Forwarding Number, or Edit if modifying an existing number.
- Enter the external number to which you want to forward calls.
- Set the forwarding preferences, such as always forwarding or conditional forwarding.

Save the configuration
- Save your new settings by tapping Save or Apply.
Verify call forwarding

Test the forwarding
- After setting up call forwarding, make a test call to your business number to ensure the call is correctly forwarded to the external number.

Check for confirmation
- If the call is forwarded successfully, you should receive it on the external number you specified.
